there is usually a clip on the bottom of the bag that you can undo to empty the stoma contents and/or to release the gas. I remember this old woman in hospital and a male nurse I knew was emptying the contents (poo) of the bag into a bowl to dispose of it. The bag was very full and as he released the clip the contents splashed into the bowl with such force that the poo bounced off and sprayed on his face! he turned round to look at me and he had liquid shit all over his beard and moustache! it was one of the funniest thing I have ever seen..... the look on his face was priceless! the old woman was senile and didn't know what the hell was going on |

Yeah, he no longer has the poo bag. He had ulcerative colitis and they had to remove his colon and create a little pouch thingy. He knows I'm gross and obliged me with a picture of his colostomy bag when he had it
