Re: Old Man with No Face
Thats really upsetting to me. Alone, homeless with nobody who gives a fuck about him. Heartbreaking. Really makes a person appreciate what theyve got, dont you think? |

Re: Old Man with No Face
I understand your initial response. But, homeless people are hopelessly dysfunctional and will only waste time, money and resources to no good purpose. There are such things as hopeless cases. Those people that are beyond human help. Many professionals have seen so many hopeless cases that they just do what they have to do because...they already know the score. They have only limited resources. It's Triage. "Triage is the process of determining the priority of patients' treatments based on the severity of their condition. This rations patient treatment efficiently when resources are insufficient for all to be treated immediately. The term comes from the French verb trier, meaning to separate, sift or select. Triage may result in determining the order and priority of emergency treatment, the order and priority of emergency transport, or the transport destination for the patient." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triage |
