Don't give too much credence to what doctors say, I had the top of my thumb amputated, they said it would never work again and it would never grow a nail, guess what, I am a Horologist and I have full use of my thumb and I have a finger nail, best thing about it is I have no nerves in the end of it and the bone is very close to the surface so I can break car windows with the tip of my right thumb...neat huh?.

jus read your earlier post,,,,, lol safety equipment strikes again,,, i worked with a dude and he used to work the torque wrench,,,no-one told him not to wear a glove on is steadying hand,,, ended up winding his hand back wards round a 10mm tourque bit,,,,,snapped 2 and dislocated 2,,,the snaps were both compund fractures!!! tasty,,,,,didnt get pics,,,mainly cuz i wasnt on this site at the time....nowadays my camera phones straight out my pocket |
