Re: Not As Hardcore As Emo Girl...
I cut myself, and yes, it is a poor coping mechanism, but there are many of those.. But I do not do it "to survive" or to cope. I do it because my self hatred runs so deep I don't deserve anything but pain. You can call me emo all you want, but the fact remains the same: anyone who can say and believe most self harmers do it for attention, and because they wanna be emo, are plain ignorant, han they seriously need to get the hell over themselves. Self harm has just become a "hey, let's all hate self harmers" thing the past years. I remember when I was little, when someone hurt themselves, everyone understood that the emotional pain had to be unbearable. Now it's more trendy to hate cutters than it actually is to cut.. That's the thing about this that really cracks me up.. All the "cool" people hating emos and cutters, they are the real trend whores not able to make up their own opinion. Some smart person found out it was a good idea to hate people who cut and make fun of them, so now everyone does it. Those people are much more pathetic than cutters, they are the real fucking cowards. But I have stopped caring about immature and ignorant idiots who think they know everything about it. Cause as I said earlier, when you believe self harm is only about "being a sad teenager", you know absolutley nothing about it, and your just a dickless little shit not being able to think your own thoughts.
