Nasty Childbirth Complications
Here you have a collection childbirth complications. You see episiotomy (cutting the vagina to make room for passing the baby), vaginal lacerations (vaginal or vaginal-anal tears during delivery), uterus inversions (womb prolaps after delivery), delivery by forceps (and what's that like for the baby...) and last but not least a special delivery (but this has nothing to do with childbirth though :)). Okay. I did not know a woman's INTESTINES could exit her vagina! Or maybe they're coming out of her butthole... I'm just glad I'm a man and never have to give birth! |

I was in labor with two of my kids for 16 and 22 hours each and had to have an episiotomy with both... and did all of it with no pain killers. I think that was the hardest things I've ever been through but it was so worth it. |

The picture from the baby shows what a forceps delivery did to him: You can clearly see the imprints of the forceps on his forehead. The forceps also damaged his nose. These kind of injuries are very common with a forceps-delivery. |
