She had her uterus coming out of her for 20 yrs... this is actually pretty common, people just don't talk about it. Especially if a woman has had more than one child vaginally. This woman may have had a "pessary" which holds the uterus up... it can be taken out (for cleaning)... so she might not have waited that long for a doc to see it- maybe she had a pessary and then they took it out for this picture?
