Re: My Skin Graft Surgery

The fire chief told me if the grill hadn't blocked the flames i would have died. You never realize how quick it can end until something like this happens, they put me in a medical induced coma for 23 hours a day. thank god for that it was the worst pain i've ever experienced
how old are you?
you are very brave to get through this
life can always change on you unexpectedly
count yourself one of the woken and not a stupid sleeper
you are more aware now because of this aren't you?
and that is worth a lot
hugs and good luck
and dont let them tell you what you can and cant do

Re: My Skin Graft Surgery

Haven't been on here for awhile just wanted to update you all. Made a full recovery. I am working full time as a licensed nurse in Ohio on my local burn unit, and compete as a professional powerlifter.

Re: My Skin Graft Surgery

What part of Tennessee are you from? I grew up in Elizabethton and now I live in Nashville.... Sooooooo very sorry that this happened to you. Being burned is mine and many people's greatest fear! :( May you heal quickly and without pain <3
