My (Sharon's) CAT Scan Of Brain Damage

My apologies for the not-so-great images but these are photo's of my actual CAT (computed axial tomography) scan from 1998 showing the damage done to the area in my brain where I suffered my brain bleed in 1996

I had to pay £15 for a copy of the scan.

The red arrows point to the rather obvious dark patch where the artero-venous malformation was, ruptured in and was then surgically excised from. The area shown is the top right of my head. My brain was forced downwards rather than to the side and has scarring at the base also (not shown).

The image with the box around the fuzzy writing shows my maiden name, Sharon McAdam, and my date of birth, 25 Sept 1976.

Thanks for looking and hope you found it just a bit interesting

The resulting physical and psychological damage from traumatic injuries is often addressed with medication of the stronger nature
