I hate those devices (Mandolin slicers).. I had worked in restaurant kitchens for over 11 years.. Even with my experience and even WITH the guard they are not safe.. And without? could be used as a medieval torture device..  Handy but not worth the loss of skin/blood/flesh/muscle/meat etc...  Want a "Safe" ..well.. "Safer" device? Go with an Anliker. I have to pick things when they itch, which gives me more issues. They take forever to heal now with the diabetes.  I like the pain better than that annoying itching. |
