You can't really tell how deep it is here but its finally starting to scab.
It's healing.

It should be itching in a couple of days.

Damn that looks harsh. Reminds me of how I almost lost the tip of a finger chopping lettuce when I was younger.

I hate those devices (Mandolin slicers)..
I had worked in restaurant kitchens for over 11 years..
Even with my experience and even WITH the guard they are not safe..
And without? could be used as a medieval torture device..
Handy but not worth the loss of skin/blood/flesh/muscle/meat etc...

Want a "Safe" ..well.. "Safer" device? Go with an Anliker.

Oh yeah, its starting to itch around the wound now.
I have to pick things when they itch, which gives me more issues. They take forever to heal now with the diabetes.

I like the pain better than that annoying itching.

No it was just blood and the white stuff by my nail was my skin.
