The gauge of the ring is too small. Because of the thin size it causes micro-tears in the skin making it susceptible to infection. After it heals I would suggest stretching it slowly to at least 14 gauge. That will help to avoid future problems.

Hey XD when i got my tragus pierced, I ask the woman why I was getting infections in the existing piercings and she said it was because the jewelery i was using had a hinge on it and it was, as you said, tearing my ear. Also, the gauge on this piece of jewelery is very small due to it being cheap (lol I admit it). Thanks for the advice hun, I was thinking about that. But how do you stretch it???

I would ask a professional piercer that one because I don't think I would be able to give you sound advice on that by looking at those pics alone. Also, make sure your jewelry doesn't have nickle in it as it can cause allergic reactions and infections.
