Re: On My Breast

May I suggest taking some benadryl and seeing if that doesnt slow down your reaction to it..
It could also help to put some topical benadryl on it as well..
Hope that helps

Re: On My Breast

Glad to hear you're going to get it looked at...some spider bites (if that's what it is) can be so painful and dangerous if they go unchecked. Good luck!

Re: On My Breast

I'm with everyone else....go the the doctor. You said it is hot to the touch, not good. Even if it is minor, it is better to get it checked out. I don't want to scare you, but if it is something major, it is better to catch it in the beginning. *JUST AN EXAMPLE* = necrotizing fasciatis from a brown recluse bite can cause castrophic injury within 3 hours of onset. Like I said, I'm not saying this to scare you, only to prompt you to get proper medical intervention. I hope it is nothing and you are okay.

If I'm not mistaken, the necrotic lesions from a brown recluse bite generally don't present until around 3 days or so.

Sorry about that, GlassToTheArson.....you are right. The lesions may take up to 3 days to present, but the internal structure damage to the epidermis and dermis can begin within 1-3 hours. I saw a case where a young lady (23 y/o) waited a few days and had to have the whole left arm, shoulder and scapula ("chicken-wing" bone) removed. Was pretty interesting to me but I don't think SHE thought so!

Re: On My Breast

Well. The doctor said I was most likely bite by a small type of spider. I am having allergic reaction. Its even worse today. I'm glad I went!
