A baa-zarre lamb has been born with a two-tone face and different coloured legs.

The young ram’s face is black on the right side and white on the left.

And while his front right and back left legs are black, the others are white.

Farmer’s wife Marianne Griffiths, 44, said: “We’ve never seen a lamb like it before. You either get a white lamb or a black one but not a half-and-half one.”

Marianne, who lives in the Brecon Beacons in Mid-Wales, said her young sons had named him Battenburg after the patterned cake.

She added: “We usually fatten up young rams for market but we hope someone will take this one as a pet.”
