Few days,weeks or months. A year is extremely rare and painful. The brain couldn't develop, if vital functions wouldn't develop in time, a few days maximum

Is there any point of keeping them alive? If they do survive through adulthood how will they function or live independenty within the society? Euthanasia on malformed newborn is the most humane way to end their sufferings.
