Re: Interview with Zombie (aka "Skullboy")!
I made the mistake when I was younger,I thought I would have the same forever so tats were'nt a big deal(demolition/construction almost encourage's it)I thought they were menacing along with being a 300lb powerlifter, they were. But now I am working elsewhere and most places hiring dont want the 300lb powerlifting biker in their workplace, and bad enuff the tats I have are'nt the general public appreciating kind to say the least. I have been in interviews positive I nailed the job offer and when I would shake hands they would notice my shirtsleeve ride up and show off my sleeve of large skull interlaced with thick jet black tribal sleeve. I would call to see the status and everytime they either avoided me,not call back or be all cold about telling me they made another choice(the 90lb pencil neck can pick-up heavy boxes easire than me)Even with great references, and a great work ethic they acted like they did'nt remeber my interview off the top of their ass(I mean head)they would say we got a few more interviews we will make our dicision in a couple of weeks, meanwhile in the add they needed help asap for a big account, now its lolygagling & dragging thier feet when it was a dyer situation a few days ealier. My point ? that kid no matter how great his/her tats look they are still tatseless in somebodies eye's,he should learn to tatoo himself, who WOULD'NT take a tat from a canvas like his? |

Re: Interview with Zombie (aka "Skullboy")!
It's kinda retarded when people harp on about how "when he's 60" or whenever, he's gonna regret the tattoos. He's 22 (at the time of that interview, anyway). He's got fucking YEARS of being young left - a lot more time between from 22-60 to 60-you know, the inevitable. So why do people always say he'll regret the tattoos when he's older? Even if he does, the fullfilment he's gotten out of them when he's young will be longer than any period of regret or so. Seeing all the sucess and recognition he's got as a result OF the tattoos already (feature in Lady Gaga's vid and modelling work, etc.) - I'd say his mods will ensure he's quite comfortably set by the time he's 60. And if he does regret them in those years to come, there is always removal options - and some tattoos do tend to fade in time anyway. (and for my 2 cents worth, I think he's a work of art and looks awesome. Sure, it might not be to everyone's taste - but it makes him happy and a lot of people appreciate it as well. He's hot. |
