Haha, I had a very similar break in my right (dominant) arm. Volar plate, 7 screws, morphine pills for 2 weeks, 6 months of physiotherapy.

Looks like a Colles' fracture, aka. bayonette fracture aka. dinner fork fracture (due to the shape of the hand).
