Re: I Had 'Acute Cardiac Episode' Yesterday
Thank God you are ok. I had a heart attack November of last year from now having enough blood to sustain life. Had no clue I was so anemic. I was euphoric and laughing at EVERYTHING. Thank God my kids were around when it happened and got me to the hospital in time. After running massive tests, it looks as though my body no longer absorbs iron the traditional way and I now have to have it done IV every few months. It sucks but it could be so much worse.

Re: I Had 'Acute Cardiac Episode' Yesterday
Now GP claiming it's anxiety and I have "subliminal traumatic memories from my brain haemorrhage damage that are triggered in hospital environment"!! Meanwhile doctor on Friday 1st said arrhythmia. Of course the tests were negative for a heart attack and random arrhythmias don't show up anything after they've happened. GP even questioning why I'm getting scan of leg arteries today, she a fucking cardiac expert?? Stupid Croc and socks wearing cunt, I'm so angry right now |

Re: I Had 'Acute Cardiac Episode' Yesterday
I know you have a list of medical problems from your posts over the years. You'll get through this as well. Try not to kill the GP. Hopefully the cardio doc isn't a twat as well. |

Re: I Had 'Acute Cardiac Episode' Yesterday
Hang in there Sharon I know it isn't the same but I recently had to start seeing a cardiologist at 32 years old for extremely high blood pressure, especially for my age. It was 178/118. Anyway, they did ultrasounds of my heart, arteries of the neck and kidneys. Plus blood work. Turned up more problems. Kidney stones, enlarged muscle around an area of the heart, enlarged prostate, super high liver enzymes. I know that should concern me more than it does but my back pain is what makes days hardest. I had a slow growing vertebral body tumor treated with radiation at the very end of December. I just had a follow up MRI and the bastard exploded in the last 9 months and is now 15-20 times the size it was at treatment. Anyway, wish you the best of luck and just sharing some of my issues, though different. |

Re: I Had 'Acute Cardiac Episode' Yesterday
You're a brave and tough lady! My stepfather had surgery to insert a stent into one of the valves of his heart a few months ago. It was done while he was awake, went in through his arm. Better than when they went in through the crotch with the camera to see if he needed the surgery in the first place. |
