He did take it pretty damn well. But I'm not surprised, even in the men's world of gymnastics there's a pressure to keep a certain body weight and shape. A lot of gymnasts of both sexes are probably deficient in several vitamins and minerals, calcium obviously being one. That's my personal hypothesis with regards to the ease with which gymnasts tend to break bones.
