Horrific Sports Injury
I don't know how much college football ya'll watch, but where I'm from, it's a religion. This is Tyrone Prothro, he played at the University of Alabama. A couple of games before this happened, he made "The Catch" as it is known (pic included).He won an ESPY award in 2006 for that catch. This has been called one of the most gruesome sports injuries of all times, ranks up there with Joe Theisman. He was hospitalized for 6 weeks or so, as he got a staph infection in the hospital. He never played another down of football after he sustained this injury. What a shame. ROLL TIDE!  ·  · |
