Horrible Hand Injury
This 24 year old woman was the belted driver of a car travelling at 100km/h on the highway. She had her left arm outside the driver's door window when she lost control of her car. With her arm still outside the car flipped onto its side and travelled 20-30 metres in this position. Paramedics found this patient with her hand trapped between the car door and the asphalt. She was evaluated according to ATLS protocols and this was found to be an isolated injury.

sadly there would be limited, if any movement in the limb from the wrist down due to lack of tendons. that would be bloody brutal once you get over the pain if they let it heal without transplanting skin on top of it |

this happened to a friend of mine, he was a passenger and had his arm resting out the window (i call bullshit, hes a bit of a cracker so i reckon he was leaning out yelling shit at people) it rolled 3 times and now he hole arm has been skin grafted from his back. so his hole arm and half of his back are just scars.

Doubt there's much they could do with such a severe injury.
