Well obviously, he was having his man-period. But since he doesn't have a vagina, it came out his nose, naturally.

Re: Helluva Nosebleed

Ah, feel you. Had to be taken to a hospital by an ambulance for nosebleeds 4 or 5 times.
First one was the worst: I got up and my nose makes this "blub blub blub"-noise and I cup my hands under it and it was like a waterfall of blood:
There was a river of blood from the couch to the bathroom, my dog was covered in blood, my floor was covered, my walls, my phone... Had to call my mom who lived in the building next to mine and she could not understand me cause it sounded like I was under water. Luckily she heard me yelp "Help" and came over.

Still remember the thud of her steadying herself at the front door frame because she felt queasy from seeing all the blood. She thought I had been stabbed and went in to a shock.
After doing all the usual tricks(pressure, ice on neck, ice in mouth, ice on nose) I couldn't stand up anymore and we had to call ambulance. Still sad about the ruined Juicy Couture dress I was wearing . Lost 25% of my blood according to their estimate.

Now I have these bleeding bags and I have to call an ambulance once I hit 500ml.
Holy shit. That's all I can say. Just, holy shit.

Re: Helluva Nosebleed

Used to get these really badly... Would bleed for hours, sometimes both nostrils. Often the pinching would not help. It would go down my throat and then I would end up throwing up blood. Cauterising it would often not help. Eventually what did the trick was having it cauterised without anaesthetic. Between that and controlling my blood pressure I ended up only having one in about five years.

Yeah, it was pretty traumatic to all of us involved. I can still remember hearing the noise the sink drain makes when you let water in it, y'know? That happened with just the blood.
Mom forgot my address in the midst of it all and I had to throw her with a magazine that had my address on it so that she could get the ambulance there
Feel worst for my dog though. She was really scared and trying to clean the blood and get help and what not, so I made the option of going in the hospital alone and leaving my mom with the dog, cause I feel she needed her more. (Mom stress cleaned the whole place while I was in the OR. She'd make a great serial killer.)
Haven't had really bad ones for almost a year now though! Here's one of my bleeding bags right after hitting 500ml and waiting for the ambulance. Good old times.

That's crazy! I hope you find a solution soon as well. <3

Use any oil for the night; olive oil, sesame oil, coconut oil, whichever you find the most pleasant(I choose coconut cause of the scent). Just kinda dip your pinky in the oil and dab a bit of it in each nostril.
During the day you can use saline spray and stay the fuck away from any cold and flu "unblocking" nosesprays and basically any medication that is created to dry your mucosa.

I live near the Arctic circle so I know how drying winter air can be.

Re: Helluva Nosebleed

Geeze, hope everything is okay. Similar happened to me not long ago. I don't get nosebleeds often (though my dad, my brother and my son do), but when I do get them, they pour. Last weekend I blew my nose and it bled for over an hour before I could get it to stop. Had bled a few times prior but stopped in about 30 minutes. Don't know the cause but I'm blaming it on the cold weather, which is usually when mine acts up. Sheesh, really hope the partner finds out the cause and that it doesn't happen again.
