The Hand of Hope
This is the picture of an unborn baby in the 21th week, who was operated by surgeon Joseph Bruner. The baby had spina bifida detected and would never survive outside the womb without an operation. His mother, Julie Armas, is a maternity nurse and had heard of the remarkable achievements of Dr. Bruner. In the UMC in Nashville, he performs surgery on babies in the womb. During this operation he takes the uterus with a cesarean section from the abdomen and makes a small incision to operate the baby. When he finished the operation, the small but perfect hand came out of the small incision and grasped the surgeon's finger firmly ... This was the most emotional moment in the life of Dr. Bruner, he was equally unable to move. The photographer has this event on film perfectly capture the newspaper called it "the hand of hope" as it were a thank you for saving his young life. Samuel was born perfectly healthy, the surgery was successful for 100%. Now look at the picture ... This baby was only 4.5 months in the belly ... · |
