I think he had a broken Big Toe and the reconstruction includes This long Pin to stabilize his Bones so that they grown together. I also had one of this Surgerys log time ago. At the beginning of this april i broke my Tibia. And instead of a caster (and lay 8 weeks in Bed) i get a Nail in my Tibia (39 centimeter long and 1 cm in diameter) and i can walk with a little bit of Pain. |

Doctors would probably do the exact same thing in the clinic, send him home, and charge $2000 for that simple procedure. Hopefully he disinfected the wound though.
