The man who threw the fuel suffered first- and second-degree burns and is in serious condition. A mall security guard was also hit by the flames. The other three injured suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA), SAMU reported. There is no information on their condition.

Videos captured by witnesses show the flames spreading rapidly inside the lottery shop. Screams can be heard and people can be seen running to escape. Shortly afterward, the footage shows the fire extinguished (watch above).

The fire started on the ground floor of the mall, where the lottery shop is located. In a statement, the mall's management reported that it was a minor fire and that the area was partially evacuated for safety reasons.

The bum with the hat must have poured something flammable on the floor cause the guard was trying to stop him from lighting it. He almost gets him but misses and the bum then has the opportunity to flick the bic a second time and the flames start up. There’s more to this story here.
