Re: Female Smear Test (Pap Test)
I can't have them done at all. I had an examination once, at the hospital by a nurse who used a very cold and very large speculum that was incredibly painful and ever since I've had nightmares about it. I wake up screaming and crying and just hysterical and it was worse every time I had a reminder letter from my doctor so in the end I told them not to send me any more. I tried to have it done once under sedation but as soon as the gynecologist started to get the couch ready for me to lie on, I was out the door and just ran through the hospital wailing. I've seen many psychologists, psychiatrists and counselors over the years and none have been able to help me with it so now I just don't think about it. Until I read this of course. Damn you! I'll be knocking back my tranquilisers tonight!

Boy, you guys think that's hairy? Anyways, those are hideously painful for me because I have an imperforate hymen (no hole where there should be one). I'm getting it corrected soon, and might be able to get pics if it doesn't violate the TOS |

Re: Female Smear Test (Pap Test)
getting my vagina examined by a doctor is as traumatizing to me as getting raped by someone I know isnt going to kill me. I will never go unless Im feeling pretty ill.

Re: Female Smear Test (Pap Test)
I'd rather have a male doctor. I had a woman once and I felt like she was comparing all of us, lol! In my head, I know. She told me all kind of disgusting stories so it was fine. That reminds me. I have to make an appointment. I keep my doctors as long as they're there. When I first saw this guy, he reminded me of Stephen King, but, I waited until after the appointment to tell him that so he wouldn't hurt me. |
