The vast majority of hospital personnel in developing countries are understaffed, overworked and underpaid. They have to ration supplies and equipment, attempt stopgap solutions or go without them entirely. Poor guy most likely died from aspirating his own blood.  |

Thoroughly amusing that they think a nasal cannula is an effective oxygenation intervention for this guy. But really, with such obvious massive skull fractures, he really is a lost cause. Time to call the specialist: Dr Kovorkian!
