Sorry I'm so late in replying to this
My mum lives in sheltered accommodation. As her next of kin I have had to make the decision to have her sectioned many times.
She also used to blood let, and kept the blood in 1 litre bottles.
She is indeed very mentally damaged. She also ingests rat poison so is often forced to have Vitamin K via IV. I'm surprised she has never bled out, but she says she knows how far she can go.
