Oh man.. My eyes started to water on the very first photo. I wish I could help her.  And I'm so thankful for my therapist who pulled me back from ending up like this girl. |

I have become so shocked by this post, I did my best to find information on this girl. but all I found out was that she keeps getting removed from tumblr because of her pictures. to my knowledge shes already had 4 since February and now they are gone. I also found many other of her photos on several emo cutter blogs. ive cut myself before I have compassion for people addicted to self harm BUT I have never felt the urge to do anything this extreme to myself. I cant image what excuse she has for this or what type of trauma she's suffered emotionally. I also cant believe she hasnt died from infection or blood loss. who is she? where is she? I hope add someone has placed her into a rehab by now

All I can say is that I really hope this young woman finds some happiness and peace in her life. This is awful and sad and no-one should have to live with their demons like this. I feel for her.

I used to work with a group of children that suffered from serious mental health issues. Some of them self harmed. I remember one of them used to swallow razor blades and batteries. Much of their desire to harm themselves was resultant from childhood trauma, in many cases prepubescent sexualzation and abuse. It's heartbreaking that a child (or adult for that matter) should despise themselves so much that they want to endure an almost perpetual cycle of physical pain and suffering, so much so that they don't want to die, just to continue living in agony. |
