Actually my son has craniosynostosis (basically he was born without any soft spots) and has had a couple of surgeries to fix this. After his first surgery at 3 months of age he had to wear a helmet to help shape his head, well it failed and the back of his skull actually caved in. His next surgery they removed 90% of his skull and took it off and reshaped it. At his 5 year check up his skull is too narrow and when his brain pulsates it is rubbing and causeing his skull to thin and the back of his skull has holes in it still. He may have yet another surgery. I wont know till Aug 17th. I have pics but I don't know how to post them.
