Re: Deformed Baby
What do you mean "where was god?" God didn't go anywhere and was not sleeping on the job. He is NOT to be blamed for this! This is the result of original sin which was committed by man himself. If you read the bible, you will find that man messed this up, not God.

Re: Deformed Baby
Pallitive/comfort care should be offered until it dies in the arms of it's parents. Poor baby looks to have a neural tube defect and cysts in whatever little brain matter it does have. It can breathe and cry because the brain stem is an amazing organ, but it can't feel, see, hear, smell or eat. |

Re: Deformed Baby
Huh. So wild animals that are born with the same defects have committed original sin, too?

Re: Deformed Baby
Everything that is imperfect in the world is a result of original sin. There is no one else who is perfect except God himself.

Re: Deformed Baby
Anencephalic babies are only born with a rudimentary brain stem. They usually die within hours to days after birth. There are no pain receptors, so pain is not an issue.
