What do you mean "where was god?" God didn't go anywhere and was not sleeping on the job. He is NOT to be blamed for this! This is the result of original sin which was committed by man himself. If you read the bible, you will find that man messed this up, not God.

Pallitive/comfort care should be offered until it dies in the arms of it's parents. Poor baby looks to have a neural tube defect and cysts in whatever little brain matter it does have. It can breathe and cry because the brain stem is an amazing organ, but it can't feel, see, hear, smell or eat.   |

Anencephalic babies are only born with a rudimentary brain stem. They usually die within hours to days after birth. There are no pain receptors, so pain is not an issue.
