Glad I was born after the vaccination program has stopped, the scars I've seen on some peoples' arms are pretty hellish. Small price to pay for something so devastating though.

I just had a small (dime sized) scar that eventually faded away completely. I had a 2nd vaccination required before travel to England that left no scar at all.
