Re: Chemical Burns To Eyes
One thing I can attest to is how un-comfortable even the smallest eye irritation,Back when I was doing demolition I was outside staking plywood and even with safety glasses a teeny tiny grain of sand flew around my eye protection,I rinsed it out with sterile solution and all was good, then about 45 mins later I could'nt take the irritated feeling It was slowely getting worse, finally I could'nt even bere it another min,I went to a private clinic and they did the test where they dialate your eyes and put you in a machine that calculates your prescrtiption based on your vision at different distances,So they took a picture to show me that I had gotten a grain of sand caught under my eyelid and evey time I blinked it put a small scratch on the surface of my eye,So after some liquid painkiller/antiseptic It got much better but it was only numb for a few hours and then hurts all over again,so with just a grain of sand its possible to fuck you eye up good,AND BOY DID IT HURT. |
