I'll have to dis-agree with you there. The way these people let themselves get to such massive proportions when there is nothing medically wrong with them, to me is sub-human. What other animal in the living kingdom eats themselves to being unable to survive on their own, while wasting precious resources? NONE..... And we are the enlightened ones and animals savage, carnal, or sub-human if you will. What really disgusts me is that there are still people out there willing to force everyone to be PC about people "painting themselves into corners" and expecting somewhat responsible humans to fix it or foot the bill.

Yeah, that's great, but that's still no reason to drag her kids into it. They didn't choose their mother.
And you clearly no nothing of the animal kingdom as there are several species that will eat themselves to chronic obesity if unlimited food is made available, and a few that will eat themselves to death (particularly goats, as they lack the ability to vomit and will frequently over-consume food to the point of rupturing their stomachs)
