I believe that this involved a detached umbilical cord and a defect of the umbilicus (bellybutton or navel). Regardless, this kid is REALLY FUCKED UP!  |

This happens a lot more often than people think. In most cases, it's fixed by surgery fairly easily a few days after birth. Poor kids, though.
