I've always taken care of my tattoos and piercings. I use to gauge my ears, and are currently stopped at 4g. Every time I went to stretch to a bigger size i used neosporin to help with inserting the new size, since i knew my ears were going to rip a little, and more than likely bleed. Never had an issue because of that. But these people oy someone didnt pay attention on proper cleaning, though a few look more like the body is rejecting it. But most look to be from lack of proper care.
