that's some scary genetic deformation. Wonder why they still trying after having 3 of such babies before that died as i don't think they will succeed in producing a "normal" baby. Better adopt one.

Thats fucked up, here in Aus its legal for first cousins to marry, never thought they would allow it if these were the consequences of marrige and then having babies!

1st cousins share 12.5% percent of their familial DNA. Cousin marriage was actually very common until it went out of fashion. Saying this couple are idiots and irresponsible is saying the same to a 35+ year old woman who decides to have a baby. That being said, it is not common for child deformity to be an end product of the cousin marriage. It could just happen to be that they carry the same dominant gene to carry unhealthy pregnancy, just like NON consanguineous marriages. |
