I hate those big, stupid headbands and flowers on babies' heads! |

Some micro preemies do survive and thrive BUT at what cost? When health care resources are stretched to the breaking point WHY are we pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars here? Before anyone starts piling on me I'll reveal I've been there. We let her rest in peace.

No. Of course not! It was on our news and I was amazed to see the tiny baby. I am pulling for her and hoping for the best. It probably weighed the same as her though. I hate when my youngest great niece's mother used to put them on her, too. Their hair will grow, but, they all grow at different rates. If I am not sure of the baby's sex, I just ask the name. With some young infants, and even toddlers, it's hard to tell and I hate referring to them as, "it," even once their sex is determined before they are born. To me, they go from, "it," to him or her at that point. |

Why the fuck do they seem so proud of how small she is. Comparing your baby to a cell phone isn't exactly what I would classify as having class. |

I feel for her, but this kid's mom doesn't strike me as the sharpest knife in the drawer. Praying won't help this little girl as much as her innate will to live and fight for her life. I know of what I speak; nearly 35 years ago I was in the same situation as this little girl. Go Avilynn! Preemie-powers activate! |
