Re: Baby with Craniosynostosis - POST OP!!!

My youngest son and my husband both have craniosynotosis! My husband never had the surgery, but our son Derek had his 1st when he was 3 months old. He was the first saggital endioscopic to fail and had a full cranio vault at 13 months. I take him for his annual check up and CT on the 17th. He may need another surgery because his skull is thinning and there are holes in the back of the skull. I will see if I can get a copy of the CT. I have some pretty sad after surgery pics when he was a baby.

Re: Baby with Craniosynostosis - POST OP!!!

I didn't get to go to my son's appointment because I had to have surgery on Tuesday, but my husband took him and I guess things are not going well. He has to have a spinal tap on the 1st. His head has not grown at all and there are still holes in his skull and it is thinning more. They are really worried about his pressures in his brain.
