Agent Orange Effects on Children
"HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM - MAY 2: Nguyen Xuan Minh (L), 4 years, lays in a crib at the Tu Du Hospital May 2, 2005 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He has been deformed since birth from what may be the effects of the defoliant Agent Orange used in the Vietnam War. On March 10 a U.S. Federal Court in Brooklyn, New York dismissed a law suit on behalf of millions of Vietnamese against the U.S. for its use of the toxic defoliant during the Vietnam War, which contains dioxin. In 1984, seven American chemical companies paid $180 million to settle a suit by U.S veterans affected by Agent Orange. Vietnam pledges to pursue the lawsuit and is taking the case to a US Court of Appeals in June. ![]() |

Re: Agent Orange Effects on Children
Oh man, if you actually read up about the chemical/s they used in the biochemical warfare (eg in Wikipedia) against these poor people, its just horrible and in my opinion an unjustifiable war tatic by the Americans. "Agent Orange" as it is commonly known as, destroyed the lives and land of so many innocent people. |
