Beautiful, brave soul, didn't even think twice about her own safety, she just wanted to make sure her mother was okay. At least they're in a place where they can't feel the pain anymore, and are together forever.

Think about it, guys. If those are third degree burns, the pain receptors in her skin have been burned off and she really couldn't feel anything at all ('cept maybe pain while breathing). All that was left was for her body to shut down due to an inadequate environment...GOD DAMNIT THE FEELS!
