Young Woman Murdered, Man Then Had Sex With Her
Awkward Brazilian details  Source published May 17th Police specializing in Homicides and Kidnappings arrested a 29 year old man who killed a 22 year old woman around 0400am "in the Park of Orange". Murderer  The accused attempted to steal the victim's cell phone after climbing through her window. She was woken up and saw the thief who then punched her in the mouth and strangled her with an electricity cable found in her home. Victim alive  Deceased  The offender lived next door to the victim and was accused of several robberies in nearby homes to fund drugs. Police interrogated the accused three times and found that he had sold the victim's cell phone to his dealer. Police conducted investigations and found the phone however the killer continued to deny the crime. As a result, the police asked him to do a DNA test at the Institute of Criminology (IC) after semen was found in the victim's body. Detectives found that the IC results and the photo records of the person who made the sexual assault was not the suspect but another person resembling him. Man matched to semen found in body  Strangely, the suspect confessed to having sex with the victim when she was already dead. |

Ah...it's Mother's Day in Brazil again. Ok, that is an odd case, and I'm impressed that the locals actually investigated it enough to get the correct bad guy. I really didn't know that they used anything as modern as DNA testing, let alone a data base. |

With that said, I've got a feeling they're not at all worthless when it comes to solving crimes in Brazil. A "fuck-it-all" view on life for many of the perps I do get a feeling of though. |
