"One day after the death of Andrea Paola Pérez Palacín, Colombian authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fall of the young woman—a native of Malambo, Atlántico—from one of the upper floors of the Porto Bellagio building, located in the Puerto Gaira area south of Santa Marta.

The incident occurred on the morning of Wednesday, September 9. Preliminary information indicates that Andrea Paola was in one of the building's apartments with other people when she fell. As of now, the circumstances leading up to the fall remain unclear.

### Investigation Underway

The incident caused a stir among local residents and mobilized emergency teams and Colombian authorities. Agents from Sijín—the Colombian National Police's criminal investigation unit—conducted a forensic examination of the scene and collected evidence that may help reconstruct the events.

Following this procedure, Andrea Paola's body was taken to the Institute of Legal Medicine, where forensic examinations are being conducted to officially determine the cause of death.

So far, Colombian authorities have not stated whether the fall was accidental or if other circumstances were involved. Investigators are also seeking to clarify the minutes leading up to the incident and are expected to interview the people who were in the apartment at the time.

The death of Andrea Paola Pérez Palacín has caused shock and sadness in Malambo, her birthplace in the Barranquilla metropolitan area. It is hoped that the forensic results and the progress of the investigation will help clarify what happened prior to the fall in Puerto Gaira, Colombia.

Authorities are seeking to establish what the young woman was doing in the city and who she was with, as well as the circumstances under which she fell.

The young woman who died following the incident—which took place on the morning of Wednesday, September 9, at the Porto Bellagio building in the Puerto Gaira area south of Santa Marta—has been identified as Andrea Paola Pérez Palacín, a native of Malambo, Atlántico. According to the preliminary information known at this moment, Andrea Paola found herself in one of the building's apartments sharing with several people when this happened. Later, the young man ended up in the park area of the building, where he was attended to after the arrival of emergency agencies and the Police.

The young man's death generated special consternation among his allies and people who knew his origin in Malambo. Meanwhile, in Santa Marta the authorities took the first steps to establish what happened inside the apartment and what circumstances occurred that preceded the fall.

One of the points that focuses the attention of researchers are precisely the minutes before the moment in which Andrea Paola ended up in the park area. Until now there is no clarity about how the fall occurred, which is why the authorities collect information and seek to establish what happened in the building before the tragedy.

Employees of the Mobile Criminalistics Laboratory of Sijín carried out the technical inspection of the place and subsequently transferred the body to Legal Medicine, where the corresponding procedures were carried out. The authorities also continue with the compilation of elements that allow them to reconstruct the sequence of hechos.

For now, the case remains under investigation and will be carried out by the authorities to clarify the circumstances in which Andrea Paola Pérez Palacín died and under what circumstances he arrived in Santa Marta from Malambo."

Jumped nude from the bathroom window.
