Young Woman Executed For Running With the Wrong Gang
CV as is often the case in this area of Brazil. Girl went missing after school and shortly thereafter her family received an anonymously-sent video of her execution. Her body was found the next day on a hill by churchgoers from a nearby house of worship. The cause of death was a massive laceration in her throat. The antemortem photos of her in the same outfit were taken earlier on the day of her kidnapping. I was only able to get the last part of the video, though she is still suffering through the last throes of agonal breathing in it. The actual execution is not filmed. The reason cited on the video was that she was being too friendly to a rival gang in the area. The girl herself was from a semi-affluent suburb and not a slum like many of the gang-related killings we see here from Brazil.  |
