Young Indian Couple Double Suicide
This young couple, whose romance was prohibited by their respective families, eloped, got married, and took a train for their 'honeymoon.' Apparently they decided that it was too much effort to try to make it on their own, as a few days later the two of them made a Facebook post with several current photos of them together along with the message, "Our last day on earth, gooodbyyyyyyyyyyyyyye everyone!" 10 hours later, their bodies were discovered in a small hotel room they were renting. The tenant of the adjacent room started complaining to management that the plumbing in the couple's room was broken because it smelled like an unflushed toilet and was stinking up his room next door. The management tried to hail the couple by knocking on the door, but they did not answer and had also missed their checkout. The door was unlocked by the manager and the couples' bodies were found. The police said they were less than 10 hours dead when discovered. They had both consumed poison and laid down on the bed to die together. Poison consumption is typically a very agonizing, painful and messy death. It often involves convulsions, severe cramping, and violent muscle spasms with intense pain. Because the body tries to rid itself of toxins, decedents of poison consumption typically fully evacuate their bowels and bladder and often vomit as well. The young man was found nude, wrapped up in bedsheets. It is not uncommon for people dying of poison consumption to strip off their clothing as they hallucinate and their body temperature rises rapidly. The girl was still fully clothed, though both parties' shoes had been discarded on the floor nearby. As expected, both decedents had urinated and defecated extensively, all over the bedsheets in the nude man's case, and all over her pants in the young woman's case. It was the smell of their own waste warming up in the south Indian heat that had so offended the neighboring tenant and prompted the room to be searched. Side note...their final suicide message got a rather absurd number of Likes, presumably from their friends and family :/ Indians are weird fucking people. You'll also note that the young woman is wearing the same shirt in the final selfies that she is wearing postmortem on the bed. |

maybe it's just me, but at least try to live... already made it this far... how hard is it to find a job and live modestly while plan for the future... they had youth...

Poison is actually just about as common, especially for couples. We just see less of it here because it isnt as popular as hangings. But it happens plenty.
