as tough skinned as I have become thanks to DR, nothing gets me like seeing parents around their dead kid. that's when the depth of human misery gets at you, at twists your insides. I never been a parent (and I'm sure if I had had kids my reaction to these photos would be worse) but as just another human I can relate. The expression on the parents faces is so real. I hope they make it out OK. I keep remembering that interracial asian white couple whose kid got crushed by the entrance gate and the father offed himself shortly after that.

I know little ones run off int he blink of an eye (yes, it CAN and DOES happen) but geeze, if there is water anywhere around where my son is, my eye do not leave him. My sympathy to the parents.
