Boy was 19, girl was 16. Both of them received phone calls at their homes in the evening and left shortly thereafter. They were found the next day as pictured here, beaten in the heads with stones and also having been tortured with blades of some kind.

No motive or suspects were disclosed, but this occurred in a pretty heavily-contested area in the drug wars, so Cartel involvement is likely.
