43 year old woman checked into a hotel room with a male guest. Several witnesses noted the male guest, face obscured by a helmet, exit the room and depart on a motorcycle in the middle of the night. Next morning, housekeeping finds the woman half-naked and dead on the floor. She had been stabbed once in the heart with a very small, thin blade. The wound was barely noticeable except for a very small trickle of blood.

Also noted on the scene were six empty beer cans, an empty black duffelbag, and four (mostly)empty plastic baggies, all of which had traces of cocaine inside. The woman's purse was still there, but had been emptied of credit cards and cash. She has been identified and robbery is the current favored horse for motive.
