Woman Smothered With Pillow
35 year old woman didn't show up for work on Monday morning. Boyfriend tried calling her all Sunday night and all morning Monday, with no answer. That afternoon he tries again and gets some random dude who claims he found the chip lying in the street. So he heads over to her crib to check out the situation. Finds her in her bed in her underwear with a pillow pressed down over her face. He pulls the pillow off and sees that she had also been bleeding from a head wound. Cause of death was asphyxiation via suffocation with associated blunt force trauma. No suspects yet. Usually the boyfriend would be POI #1, but it seems the police have cleared him in this instance. Did anyone see two guys on a motorcycle leaving the scene? That would be the best lead to kick off the investigation.
