The x-ray knife has like a wide metal hilt whereas it's just a basic wooden handle on the other knife. :?

What you're seeing in the xray isn't the hilt of the knife. It's one of the brass rivets that attaches the handle halves to the shank. As far as the angle of the blade, it does seem to match the angle in the pic above it.
