Re: Woman Found Dead After Being Suffocated
I'd just like to address the issue of posting humorous(the quality of the attempted humour is extremely subjective of course) comments on a death forum from my own personal perspective. I would be the first person to admit that the vast majority of my posts are an attempt at a kind of 'gallows humour' which some people may find offensive, childish, or extremely, uncontrollably sexy(PM me your naked pics laydees- I await your boobs). Before you jump to the conclusion that I'm some kind of sick, insensitive prick who delights in exploiting the pain and suffering of others or finds gore and gruesome deaths titillating, I'd like to explain the apparent flippant attitude that I have. Recent personal events have fuelled a need to understand death and try to remove the 'taboo' stigma attached it- my hope is to familiarise myself with it to the point that I am able to cope with it a little better in my own life. However, it's impossible to view page after page of death, mutilation, etc. without finding yourself becoming emotionally attached on some level- hence my attempts to keep my distance from what I'm seeing by making puerile attempts at humour. If I were to let myself become emotionally attached to every single death on DR I'd be letting myself in for an almighty mental skullfuck. Plus, if every single thread consisted solely of the posts of members weeping in anguished sympathy, they'd honestly become too tedious to even read- I find the occasional sick joke or nugget of additional info added in by another member makes each thread immeasurably more interesting. Now, speaking of being too tedious to even read, I'm going to shut up and go wank over a photo of a dismembered corpse- making a 'serious' post has drained me(and probably all of you too) but don't fret, I promise I won't do it again! Go fist yourselves, you sick, insensitive pricks! |

Re: Woman Found Dead After Being Suffocated
Now Now children, play nice.....Never would I directly hurt someones feelings, who has been through a hard time, but these people are dead and don't feel nothing when me make light of their demise. Butterfly on the other hand is a live person and there is absolutely no need to mock her and make her sad. so chill out dudes. This sight is not meant to be a battleground. If you don't like it, stay away from it. Other people should realise, there is no harm in making humour from bad situation, ( as any death is), and not take thing that are said by members of this site to heart. I myself am fascinated by death pictures, it make me realise how precious life is and what any one of us could end up like, but i'm not averse to a bit of humour either. Butterfly, I hope you are okay and take what people say with a pinch of salt, but don't let it get to you. |
